I know it’s probably really irritating (I am really sorry for the inconvenience), but I didn’t feel like WordPress allowed me to customise my blog as much as I wanted to. This isn’t to say that WordPress is a bad blogging platform in any way, but I changed blogging platform because I found another one that suited me better and that allows me to make my blog look the way I want it to look.
I really do mean it when I say that I’m never changing blog again, this is a one time thing and it was such a huge hassle, but I think it’s worth it for the long run.
I really hope you head on over to my new blog to check it out! The new blog is updated with all the newest blog posts and all new recipes will be posted on that one, I’m no longer going to use this blog.
So just go ahead and CLICK HERE to check out the new-blog-awesomeness I’ve worked so hard on.
I hope you like it 🙂

One of my favourite breakfasts is this Acai Breakfast Bowl. It’s basically a guilt-free acai ice-cream sorbet – for breakfast. That alone should be enough to make you want to make this. I mean berrylicous ice-cream? For breakfast? It doesn’t get much better than that…
I love ginger. I love coconut. I generally love all foods (in case you haven’t noticed). The only problem is, ginger can get a little overwhelming sometimes – if you see what I mean. I regularly take ginger shots, but they always make my throat burn as if I’m a fire-breathing dragon. I therefor wanted to share a recipe that involves ginger that does NOT give you fire-breathing powers.
This combination of ingredients might seem surprising at first, but don’t let it fool you, these squares taste absolutely amazing! You can see for yourself once you’ve made them.
Happy 4th of July everybody!!! I know that it’s only Americans who celebrate this holiday, but the more celebrations the better, so everybody should just go ahead and join in the celebration. The more the merrier!
To celebrate America’s glorious Independence Day I decided to make puffed quinoa treats, and if you have puffed quinoa, so why don’t you join me and brighten the day with some healthy sweet snacks?
Do you ever feel hungry shortly after drinking a smoothie? Some smoothies make me feel really full right after I’ve enjoyed them, but one or two hours later I’ll find myself back in the kitchen, looking for more food. Sometimes it’s great that a smoothie can be tasty and light, kind of like a snack, but when I want a smoothie that makes me feel full and satisfied for the rest of the day, this is the one I make. It’s packed with vitamins, fibre, healthy fat, protein and antioxidants. And even if it didn’t have such a high goodness-factor I’d probably make it anyways because it’s just plain delicious.
It’s summer, which means that all the seasonable summer fruits and veggies are on sale! (This is the part where we all say YAY!) I’m loading up on fresh asparagus, watermelon, rhubarb, kale and PEACHES! That is the main point of this recipe – to enjoy some ripe peaches in a summer smoothie – which should be very easy considering how delicious this smoothie tastes!
I’m not quite sure if this dish qualifies as a smoothie bowl or a pudding, but I went with pudding because of it’s wonderful creamy consistency. What I love about this pudding, however, is that despite what the name indicates, it can be made as a snack, dessert, breakfast, anything you wish. That’s the beauty of healthy recipes – they can be eaten whenever!
This recipe happens to have a secret ingredient that enhances the creamy pudding’s foodgasm-giving powers. It’s a lovely ingredient that is super healthy, easy to find and tastes amazing – it just isn’t the first food most people would guess when tasting this delicious dessert. Have a look at the ingredients to find out what it is.
We are now in the end of June, which means it is officially summer time! Some people would say “YUPEE” while others tend to think “Oh crap, I have to lean down for bathing-suit season”. No matter how enthusiastic you are about summer, and regardless of your current fitness-goals, this is salad that can be enjoyed by everyone, anywhere, any time. It’s light, yet full of nutrients and protein and leaves you feeling full and satisfied. I hope you enjoy it!
I can never get enough of nicecream – NEVER. My favourite flavours right now are blueberry, strawberry, chocolate and chocofig. Today I’m going to be sharing my famous strawberry nicecream recipe. It’s definitely a classic, which means you can never can go wrong with this one.
This salad is so simple to make, it’s tasty, fresh and interesting, however, I’m not quite sure whether it qualifies as a fruit salad or a salad salad. But whatever it is – it’s definitely worth making if you’re getting tired of the usual lettuce salads 🙂
